The Journal of Applied Health Studies in Sport Physiology (JAHSSP) is an official publication of the Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University. It is a professional double-blind peer reviewed Internet-based journal devoted to original research and reveiw articles in exercise physiology. The journal is directed by the Editor-In-Chief with supporting editorial assistance via Associate Editors knowledgeable in the field of exercise physiology. All papers are published in Persian. 

The JAHSSP uses the World Association of Medical Editors’ definition of editorial freedom and adopts the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), encounter with ethical misbehavior.

 JAHSSP scope covers all aspects of exercise physiology and welcomes submissions on the response to acute exercise as well as the adaptation to exercise training programs from the molecular and cellular level to individual systems and extending to the integrated multi-systemic response of the intact organism in both humans and animals.

This biannually published journal was approved to be published since Fall 2014. It renamed from “Applied Sciences in Sport and Health” to “Applied Health Studies in Sport Physiology” 1n 2015.

Authors’ rights: The name and email addresses of all authors are kept confidential and are solely used in journals of the Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University. It would not be available for any other person of organization. 

Double-Blind Peer Review: The review system of the journal is confidential.

 The Journal of Applied Health Studies in Sport Physiology doesn't have charges for submissions.

 We try to provide an online open access journal system, to provide an opportunity for various researchers to publish their articles free of cost, and to access all published articles as free. All articles in Journal of Applied Health Studies in Sport Physiology (JAHSSP) are available online (Open Access) at no cost. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
