In a descriptive-correlational study, 150 people  were selected from the heads and experts of sport boards in West Azarbaijan according to Morgan's sampling table. Multiple regression test was used to analyze the data. The results showed that among the innovation climate components, challenge and participation componentscould predict entrepreneurial capacity in sport boards of the West Azerbaijan province.  Overall, we suggest that sport boards should involve in entrepreneurship and innovation. Accordingly, it is suggested that sport boards provide entrepreneurship education for the heads and experts and opportunities for innovation. This wil provide the opportunities for competition.
