The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between skill performance, mental preparation and collective efficacy in football players. The statistical sample of the study included 80 male soccer players selected randomly from Arak city football teams. Data were collected using the following skill tests: preserving the ball in the air, dribbling test, run sweep with the ball and targeting test, the Ottawa mental skills questionnaire and collective efficacy questionnaire in sports. Then data were analyzed by SPSS 16 software using the statistical tests of Pearson correlation coefficient and simple linear regression. The results of the study showed that there was a significant positive relation between skill performance, mental preparation and collective efficacy. Collective efficacy was also positively correlated with the age, championship background, sports background and team membership history. Moreover, results showed that both predictive variables including skill performance and mental preparation are appropriate predictors of collective efficacy.

The pregnancy and birth process are important because they have directly been concerned with childhood health. The purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between Apgar score and motor proficiency (gross motor skills) in 6-year-oldchildren in Bardaskan city. This is a descriptive-correlational study in which the statistical population included all the children born in Valiasser hospital in Bardaskan city in 2007. The statistical sample were selected in a purposeful and convenient manner (120 people including 60 boys and 60 girls). When the apgar scale data were recorded, Bruininks - Oseretsky test of motor proficiency were applied to evaluate gross motor skills. Research data were analyzed using spss 20 software and Pearson correlation coefficient. The results showed that there is no significant relationship between apgar score and gross motor skills. Based on the Pearson’s correlation results, it seems that the Apgar score may not be considered as a predictor for gross motor skills in this age.

The aim of the present research is to determine the validity and reliability of the effective factors’ scale on the emergence of office corruption and its control methods in the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The method of this research is Descriptive-Analytic. Statistical population of this study included personnel of the Ministry of Youth and Sports which are 900 persons according to the ministry’s reports. According to Morgan’s Sampling Table, 269 subjects were estimated as the statistical sample then 320 questionnaires were distributed and collected. In this research, researcher made questionnaire named effective factors on office corruption and control methods was used which superficial and content validity of the questionnaire was approved 12 professors in Sports Management. For construct validity of the questionnaire the effective factors (0.770) and control methods (0.815) were calculated using factor analysis. The validity coefficient of the questionaires were calculated using Cronbakh’s Alfa was (α=0.81) for effective factors and (α=0.83) for control factors. According to the fact that the validity and reliability of the questionnaire are all optimal, the new version of questionnaire for estimating effective factors and control methods of office corruption can be used as a valid and reliable questionnaire to measure the amount of corruption in sports organizations.

The purpose of this study was to predict entrepreneurial capacity of the heads and experts of sport boards by analyzing innovation climate components. In a descriptive-correlational study, 150 people were selected from the heads and experts of sport boards in West Azarbaijan according to Morgan's sampling table. Multiple regression test was used to analyze the data. The results showed that among the innovation climate components, challenge and participation componentscould predict entrepreneurial capacity in sport boards of the West Azerbaijan province. Overall, we suggest that sport boards should involve in entrepreneurship and innovation. Accordingly, it is suggested that sport boards provide entrepreneurship education for the heads and experts and opportunities for innovation. This wil provide the opportunities for competition.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of mental toughness on state anxiety under stress in female athletes of Tabriz University. For this reason, 30 students with an average age of 18-27 years participated in this study. Participants were divided into two groups of high and low mental toughness using mental toughness questionnaire 48 (Clough et al 2002).Subjects' state and trait anxiety was assessed using Spielberger's State-Trait Anxiety questionnare andmental stress was applied through spectators and competition for prize. The state Anxiety was assessed after applying the mental stress. ANCOVA analysis indicated that there was significant difference between groups in state anxiety. Under the mental stress the participants with low levels of mental toughness showed greater state anxiety. The results of Pearson correlation test also revealed that there was strong negative relationship between mental toughness subscales and trait and state anxiety in normal condition and under stress (p < 0.05). The findings of the study suggest that levels of mental toughness have significant effect on state anxiety under stress.

In this research meta-analysis was conducted on studies in the context of motor skills mental imagery with respect to moderating variables of gender and age. In this method, Analysis unit is taken of research. The research method included quantifying the effect size. For this, 40 researches investigating motor skills mental imagery were identified among which 26 relevant researches were studied. Independent t-test was used for statistical analysis. Results showed that gender and age had not significant effect of on motor skills imagery (P>0.05). Gender and age as moderating variables had not significant effect on motor skills mental imagery. All groups could benefit from imagining ability. The findings of the present research confirm the results of previous studies supporting the effect of mental imagery on motor skills.

The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between risk-taking and aggression in bodybuilders. This was a correlational, causal-comparative study. The population of this study included all bodybuilders of fitness clubs in Urmia city among which 50 male and 50 female with at least one year and maximum five years history of regular exercise were selected in a convenient manner. Bass and Perry aggression questionnaire and Zuckerman mixed questionnaire were used to collect the data. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and independent t-test. Results showed that there was significant positive correlation between aggression and risk-taking (p=0.015). Independenat t-test analysis showed a significant difference between men and women in risk-taking (p < 0.01) and aggression (p < 0.05); namely the average of risk-taking and aggression was significantly higher in men than women. Given the fact that taking risk to achieve ambitious goals is one of the most valuable features among communities,it should be taken in moderation. People should not take unbearable risks because high risks jeopardizes mental health.
